Are You With Me?

Updated: Jun 1, 2020

Today’s title for the Rise & Shine Live Devotional was “Are You With Me?” As always, when God gave me the title I had no idea where He would take us, however, it wasn’t long after getting into the devotional that He made it clear. God desires that we want to be in partnership with Him. That we would relinquish total control and truly be happy knowing that He is in control of everything. His desire is for us to come up higher in Him. He says in Jeremiah 33:3 to call upon Him and He will show us great and mighty things. He wants to share His plans, His secrets with us, but we have to be in partnership with Him. He says it’s time to stop coexisting, but to partner. To partner means to be of the same mindset, to be together not separate. He’s sanctified you, set you apart from man, but not from Him. He says He has a joint account that He wants to put your name on, but you have to agree to sign over your life. He asks, are you with me? Will you partner with me in raising your children? Will you partner with me in restoring your marriage? Will you partner with me in running your business, your ministry, your life? Are you with me? He says many are afraid to partner because they are living in the fear of not being good enough. He says you will never be good enough in your own strength. He says to come away from the spirit of religious duty and come into the spirit of relationship. I have made you an heir with me and a joint heir with Jesus. Don’t you see the benefit of partnership? All that I have and all that Jesus has is yours, if you partner with me. You are accepted in the beloved. Are you with me?

And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” Romans 8:15-16 TPT
