Take the Leap

We’re in the last week of February, and as you know, this year is a leap year! Not only is 2020 a leap year, but it’s also the year of clarity, consistency, confidence, and conquering. As I was reflecting on this word, I started thinking about what areas of my life require me to take a leap.
Where do I need to take a leap in my thinking?
My relationships?
My business?
What does taking a leap look like or require?
Then, I thought that I’m sure I’m not alone, so I decided to write this blog.
My first thought about the word "leap" is that it means to take a huge elevated step or jump. A leap requires me to go higher. To better understand and ascertain the answers to my questions, I looked up the word "leap." Dictionary.com defines the word "leap" as “to spring through the air from one point or position to another; to jump”. It’s also defined as “to move or act quickly or suddenly”.
How does this apply to my life and your life?
To jump in the air or for something to spring through the air, there must be pressure or a force behind it. That force is the Holy Spirit. John 16:13 tells us that the Holy Spirit leads and guides us into the truth. I must take a leap in my mind to change my way of thinking. I must jump up from procrastination, doubt, and insecurity because those thoughts will hinder me from receiving the clarity I need to establish consistency, walk in confidence, and conquer any obstacle. Leaping will cause me to come out of my comfort zone and believe that I belong in the room. Leaping will attract my destiny helpers. Leaping will allow me to take risks in my business by acting on godly wisdom. Ultimately, taking a leap is activating my faith. It’s not only saying to God that I trust Him, but demonstrating to Him that I truly trust Him with every aspect of my life.
Yes, I know, sometimes this is easier said than done.
My challenge to you is to join me in taking the leap. Allow the Holy Spirit to be the force that causes you to shift your mindset. Get into the Word and let it lead you to your path of destiny. Choose to get the clarity and be consistent, so that you can walk in confidence and be more than a conqueror.
Will you join me?
