The Promise

As I prepare for the launch of the global devotional titled Promise: God’s Assurance on the Cross for Our Crown, I began to reflect on how the promises of God are actually manifested. This is what the Lord dropped in my spirit:

Prayer: It is through consistent prayer that the promises of God are released in our lives

Relationship: The manifestation of the promise requires true relationship with God

Obedience: God will give instructions before manifesting the promise. Obedience releases the blessing.

Meditation: We must meditate on the word of God day and night. This allows the word/promise to get into how Spirit. Once in our Spirit, we will see the promise with our spiritual eye and will proclaim that which we see.

Integration: We must mix our faith with the word. As our faith integrates with the word, hope is restored, and we have the evidence of the promise.

Surrender: As long as we hold on to our will and way, we won’t see the manifestation of the promise. We must completely surrender our will and way to God.

Expectancy: If you don’t expect to receive anything you won’t. We must have an expectancy. A woman doesn’t carry a child inside her for nine months and not expect to give birth. In that same vain our expectancy, births the promises of God.

I challenge you today to reflect on the promises God has made to you. If you aren’t seeing them being manifested, give this approach a try. Until next week….

Be blessed, but first comes obedience!
