As some of you know, I’m a co-author in the global devotional titled Promise: God’s Assurance on The Cross for Our Crown. This journey has truly confirmed that not only am I the evidence of God’s promises, but also that my crown is secured. Although the cares of life and the schemes of the enemy may cause my crown to shift, my warring in prayer using the word of God, causes my crown to remain secure. It will not come off! Nothing will remove my crown! The blood of Jesus has settled it on the cross. Today, I want to share with you a few ways you too can know that your crown is secured.

1. It is only because of the grace of God that you are saved. There’s nothing you can do to bring about your salvation. Your salvation was secured on the cross (Romans 3:24, 11:6)
2. The Holy Spirit who lives on the inside of you is greater than any force of this world (1 John 4:4).
3. Although you may experience trials and tribulations, they won’t take you out, because Isaiah 54:17 says the weapon will form, but it won’t prosper. It is only the word of God that prospers where it is sent (Isaiah 55:11).
4. Be confident in knowing that because you have put your faith in God, your faith will cause you to overcome the trials of this world (1 John 5:4).
These are just a few scriptures to remind you that your crown is secured.
For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 1 John 5:4 NLT
1 John 5:4 is the foundational scripture for my devotional in the Promise devotional, and it is by faith that I am the evidence of God’s promises. Pick up a copy for you and a friend and be affirmed that you too are a Daughter of Promise! This week meditate on these scriptures and allow the Holy Spirit to show you that your crown is secured. Until next week….
Be blessed, but first comes obedience!
